Southwest Airlines and Air Tran provide service to 97 destinations in 41 states in the United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and six international countries.

Go to Southwest.com. Click on “Travel Guide” and “All Destinations” if you have not planned a trip to find out if Southwest offers nonstop flights to your preferred city.

Select “Book a Flight” on your destination city’s page. Input your departure and arrival locations, preferred travel dates, number of passengers and any promotion codes you may have in the appropriate boxes. Click “Book Now” at the bottom of the page to start the reservation process and go to the next page.

Check the “Nonstop” box on the next page on the left-hand side of the page, under the heading "Customize My Results" to show available nonstop flights to your destination city. If nonstop flights are available, the results will show up first in the departure and return lists that populate the page. Look under "Routing" -- the fourth column from the left) -- on both legs of the trip to ensure you choose nonstop flights round trip.
