More than 18 million domestic travelers visited O'Hare International Airport in Chicago in 2011, making it among the busiest airports in the United States. After landing there and gathering your luggage, you'll need to plan your exit and arrange transportation. In simplest terms, the roadway is the vehicle-accessible area in front of each terminal. As you approach this area, regardless of whether you're in Terminal 1, 2, 3 or 5, you'll see numerous car rental agencies, including Hertz. In each of the four terminals, the baggage claim area is adjacent to the Lower Level Roadway area, making it simple to locate the Hertz counter once you pick up your luggage.


To rent a car from Hertz, you'll need a valid driver's license and proof of insurance. You'll also be required to provide details about the duration and nature of your rental.
