To help prevent your luggage from being misplaced during travel on Carnival cruises, the company's website allows you to print labels that will identify each piece of your party's luggage. Each guest in your travel group can print her own identifying tag. The labels can be slipped into travel tag plastic sleeves or the built-in I.D. windows that some pieces of luggage have sewn on them.

Visit Carnival's official website at carnival.com. Click on the "My Cruise" link in the upper right of the screen. In the drop-down menu that appears, click on "My Documents."

Enter your booking number, your last name and your date of birth. From the drop-down menu next to "Ship," select the Carnival cruise ship for which you've booked a trip. From the drop-down menu next to "Sail Date," select the date your cruise leaves port.

Click the "Continue" button and locate and select the "Print Luggage Tags" link on the next page. Verify that your printer is connected and turned on. Click the "Print" button on the screen. You might need to click "OK" or "Print" if a preview of the tags to be printed appears on screen.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each person in your group. Be sure to change the last name and date of birth before submitting the information.

Tip

Consider printing two copies of each luggage tag per piece of luggage. You can keep one tag inside the bag in case the outer tag gets torn off.
