Review:
My wife and I spent a few hours walking the streets of Charleston. Our goal was a nice big bowl of jambalaya at the Margaritaville Cafe. So as we walked we took in the ambiance, the palm trees blowing in the constant breeze, the pirate haunts, and mansions. Row upon row of shops called us in with their air conditioned promises. Smells from a hundred different places beckoned, but we had our hearts set. So when we arrived we were dismayed to find only a t-shirt shop. "Where is the cafe?" we asked. "This is the only Margaritaville without one." was the reply. Our hearts sank until we remembered the fantastic smells that brought us down this far. I don''t remember the name of the place now, Magic Mushroom I believe it was. It had the food and atmosphere which exceeded our expectations and the expectations we had for our other choice. Charleston is the type of place that makes me forget I''m in America.
