If you are staying in or visit Litchfield in western Connecticut, eat at the West Side Grill with good food and nice atmosphere. Enjoy antiquing here too. We drove the backstreets to see the historic homes here. In Salisbury get a bite and great tea in the town that specializes in tea - Chaiwalla is the tea room we visited and I am very glad we did. We went to Mohawk Mountain Lodge but it's not much to visit in the fall. Wait until winter.
