North River Campground - Bridgewater VA Camping

Preview: Those campers in search of good hiking trails and trout streams will find this an ideal site for a temporary respite. The North River is a stocked stream and a great place for anglers to pit their skills against rainbow and brown trout. There is no shortage of places to hike in the national forest. A very popular although fairly strenuous walk is the nearby 25.7-mile Wild Oak National Recreation loop Trail. Mountain bikers will likewise find some enjoyable riding on nearby trails, forest development roads, or a combination of the two.
